 يعد برنامج SMS Reception Center برنامج معالج آلي لرسائل SMS الواردة. يستطيع البرنامج أن يقوم بإجراء العديد من الإجراءات التي يحددها المستخدم عند تلقي الرسائل. ومن هذه الإجراءات تحديث قاعدة بيانات ODBC وإرسال رسائل بريد إلكتروني وتشغيل البرامج. ويستخدم برنامج SMS Reception Center مودم GSM أو هاتف متحرك مرفق بجهاز الكمبيوتر.
SMS Reception Center
Sort, process, forward, filter incoming SMS messages automatically
SMS Reception Center - you can easily set up SMS to e-mail gateway, SMS chat, conference, newsgroup and any other messaging service. You can make your SQL database accessible remotely with SMS commands.
SMS Reception Center works with many cell phones and GSM modems. You can specify any number of rules that will be used to handle each SMS message.
You can use this program to open a small SMS service.
If you combine SMS Reception Center with other widely-known programs, you can use it to do a lot of funny things. SmsRc and Winamp make SMS-controllable jukebox, SmsRc + Resource kit + some other utilities make a powerful tool for remote administration and server monitoring.

If you don't find your modem (phone) in the list, it doesn't mean that it won't work. In fact, it's more likely that it will.

Limitations:
· The SMS Reception Service will process up to 6 incoming SMS per session. Then you have to restart the service or the messages will be silently ignored.
