 يعتبر برنامج Picasa من البرامج الجديدة التي أنتجتها شركةGoogle يقوم البرنامج بالبحث في الجهاز عن جميع الصور الموجودة ومن ثم القيام بترتيبها يمكنك من خلال البرنامج أيضا إجراء بعض التعديلات على الصور كجودتها أو امتدادها بالإضافة لذلك فإنه يساعدك على إنشاء معرض للصور لرفعه على الإنترنت يحتوي البرنامج أيضاُ على بعض مميزات برنامج Photoshop ، يتميز البرنامج أيضا بصغر حجمه وسهولة استخدامه يتعامل البرنامج مع الامتدادات التالية Images: jpg, bmp, gif, png, psd, tif Movies: avi, mpg, wmv, asf, mov
