 يعمل AnyDVD في الخلفية لإزالة الحماية ضد النسخ آليا من أفلام الـ DVD فور إدخالها في محرك الأقراص ، ليسمح لك بعمل نسخة إحتياطية منها باستخدام أي أداة للتخزين مثل CloneDVD أو CloneDVD mobile . و يمكنك أيضا إزالة رمز المنطقة RPC ، بحيث تجعل المنطقة السينمائية حرة و صالحة للمشاهدة على أي مشغل DVD أو على أي برنامج آخر .
